This HandHeld GPS is very portable, compact and fits nicely in the palm of your hand so that you can operate it one handed. It is also very lightweight weighing less than 160 grams. It has a color back lit screen with day light view so that you can see it in outdoor lighting even in direct sunlight and is very vibrant and easy to read.
If you want to find out how far you hit the golf ball you just have to press the mark ball button and it will measure and tell you how far you have hit the ball. The 4 way scroll pad has been designed to feel as if you are rubbing your finger on top of a golf ball and is used to navigate easily through the list of targets etc. There are 7 other buttons for all the other navigation operations.
It comes with professionally chartered courses. You get all the information of where the targets and hazards such as bunkers are and the distance you need to hit to clear them and be at the middle of the green. At each hole it will tell you how far it is to the center of the green from your current location, even if you are not able to see the green from your pin, IntelliGreen will tell you all the information you need to know. The clear yardages it gives makes a huge difference to your game of golf.
The SkyGolf SG5 also has an inbuilt digital score card and the SG5 can store upto 20 courses for your convenience. It is operated by rechargeable lithium batteries and allows for 14 hours of use continuous use.
To start using the SkyCaddie 5 you have to first setup the GPS by loading all the courses you want from the website. There are 3 yearly membership options available starting from $29.95 giving you access to the number of courses you want. There are over 26,000 courses to choose from online. If the course you want doesn’t happen to be on the database it allows you to map and record the course yourself.
Using the SkyGolf SkyCaddie SG5 you get the same benefit as playing with a professional tour caddy as this gives you the detailed course information that you will need at any given location on the golf course. This is also very easy to read in any given light and has a very wide screen for easy visibility. I would highly recommend this if you want to improve and assist you in your game of golf.
